The capsule was quite cramped, especially with luggage. I found the shared restrooms often had an unpleasant odor after 5 PM. Additionally, some guests were quite noisy, making it challenging to rest.

Consider reserving a deluxe capsule for extra space and comfort, especially if you have a suitcase.

The hotel features a unique setup with separate elevators and floors for men and women, ensuring safety. While the capsule experience is intriguing, it can lack privacy at times. Check-in can be tedious, but the friendly staff makes it worthwhile. A prime location near Sensoji Temple adds to its charm, making it a convenient stay.

Extra pillow provided for support, which is a nice touch for comfort. The location is convenient for reaching nearby attractions easily.

The mattress is thin, leading to discomfort, especially for those with back issues. Shared spaces were often messy, with luggage left out near capsules and a lack of cleanliness in bathroom facilities, including dirty towels and hairs in the sinks. The overall cleanliness of the bedding was questionable, making for an uninviting experience.

The capsule was cozy, but the bathroom had only two showers for the whole floor.

The capsules, especially the deluxe ones, are surprisingly spacious with plenty of room for a suitcase and personal items tucked away neatly in the storage locker underneath the bed. The shower area was fantastic, featuring a great space to get ready in the morning, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Some guests can be noisy.

I had a great 14-night stay. the capsule was cozy with adjustable lights and a comfortable bed, although it could get noisy with others coming and going late at night. I'd definitely stay again for the spacious capsule and cleanliness!

Solo travelers might dig it

The place is easy to find and super close to the subway, like 5 min walk. Checking out places like the Sensoji Temple and Ichiran was cool, all walking distance! The staff were really nice and you can even leave luggage for free if you arrive early! Loved that they had toiletries provided, so I didn’t have to drag those along. Plus, the capsule was surprisingly comfortable-much better than the last place I crashed at, trust me on that one!

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but for what I got, it was fairly acceptable.

The capsule was spacious enough for someone 180 cm tall, with excellent wifi and a well-equipped locker for luggage. Clean facilities made the stay enjoyable, but taller guests might find the capsule slightly cramped.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Business Capsule Hotel Lightning Hotel Asakusa. The reception area was welcoming, and the capsules were surprisingly spacious, especially the deluxe ones. I appreciated the cleanliness of the shower area and the availability of toiletries, which made my mornings easier.
